The church St. Michaelis - better known as "Michel" - is one of Hamburg's landmarks as well as one of the most important churches in the north of Germany.
The "Michel" is one of Hamburg's five main churches that are a major part of the skyline of the city. The building works for the church of baroque style started in 1648 and were finished in 1661.
