Built in 1896, the Rickmer Rickmers arrived in Hamburg after having sailed throughout the world in 1983. As the ship was in a horrible condition then, it had to be restored for four years. Now, the old windjammer is one of the large museum ships in Hamburg's harbour. In addition, there is a restaurant on the Rickmer Rickmers.
